"Royal Ironstone China made by Alfred Meakin, England." Has gold leaf pattern. This covered serving bowl was used in the home of Marie Quam Thorson, wife of Judge Tory Thorson in Glenwood in the late 1800's. She was the Aunt of Sophie (Mrs. Erling J.) Femrite."
It has a seperate lid with a square gold painted handle on top. The bowl has square handles on the short sides. The edges are all highlighted with gold paint. It is 5" high, 10.5" long and 6.5" wide.
