Description
Skirt to wedding dress. Home made of blue gray fabric, with white swirled trim at the bottom and in lines up the front. It has brown fabric lining and a brown corduroy edging on the inside. The skirt is 40" long extending into a 50" train. The waist is 26". There is a tear by the snap opening in the back and several small stains and holes. There is a fabric band around the waist attached to the skirt by a pin. Worn by women of the Flom / Hedine family. It was worn by Louise Thompson when she married Sam Flom in December of 1902, then by four of her daughters at their own weddings: Marjorie to Marvin Ettesvold in 1933, Hazel to Arnold Flom in 1937, Sylvia to Arthur Long in 1941 and Mildred to John Johannesson in 1959.
