Front of machine has a swing-out drawer for holding bobbins." There are 5 holes and 5 bobbins therein. "A treadle machine, with sinding apparatus at the side, tension device in the center, and pressure foot that rises with each stitch. The stand is of cast iron, painted black, the word Davis on either side. The wheel is enclosed with an open grill. The foot part has the words "Vertical Feed" as part of open structure. This machine has been cared for, and treasured. A great household treasure for the woman of the house. This machine was in the Mons Stolaas family for years."
