Description

Foot locker - Military trunk made of fiberboard with reinforced edges. Used by Mary Teigen when she served in the Coast Guard during World War II. Each edge of the trunk has metal trim and each corner has an additional metal cap. There are leather handles on each side and the front held on by metal brackets. There is a lock on the front and two additional clasps. The inside is lined with rust colored paper. On the bottom is a label that is almost illegible from wear. It appears to have the name Mary Teigen.
