Description
The bulb is oblong and clear. It is 5.5 inches long and 1.75 inches wide. It was made in the 1930's. (B)
There is a letter attached that reads:
"From C.J. Kolts NSP
To: Dorothy Herbert
The light bulbs that belong to the gentleman in Glenwood, Minnesota were made at different times. One was manufactured about 1921 and the other one was manufactured during the early 1930's.
Some individuals are interested in these types of light bulbs as collector items. However, the monetary value of these bulbs is very small. Most large lamp manufacturers, such as General Electric, Westinghouse, and Sylvania already have a complete stock of older bulbs and do not show that much interest in obtaining any more."
