Description

Wooden chair - bent back design. The back is shaped into a bow with 4 vertical rungs doweled into it. The 2 center rungs actually go all the way through the bow and are visible from the top of the chair. It has a small (14 x 14.5") shaped seat, and spread legs for balance. There are 2 rungs inserted on the sides and one in the front and back for a total of 6 rungs. Painted / stained light brown.
These chairs (its pair is 1974.1285.1) belonged to Gustav Gustavson. Their quaint shape gives away thir age. Seats are marked as though a knife had slipped in some of its work, and other dents show.
