Diameter is a measurement of the bell. The case is 36" x 7".

Description
Trombone and case used by Gilman Haugen in the Glenwood Symphony Orchestra and the Starbuck City Band. He also used it as a member of the 158th infantry band, serving as District of Paris official band, November 15, 1918 to January 1919. This band also served as the official band for President Wilson when in France in 1918. The horn is in three pieces: the one with the bell, the slide, and a second piece for the back curve. It fits into a case with green lining. The 36 x 7 inch case is painted in patches of brown, blue, yellow, red, green, and gray. It has a handle, two buckles and a lock on the top.
