This Dictionary was used in World War I to bridge the language barrier between the English speaking and French speaking individuals. It is specifically for the use of military personnel as all the words and phrases pertain to the military. The book is olive in color though the paper cover is cream in color. The printed words on the front are brown in color. The book itself is worn with age, but the paper cover is in very poor condition with an assortment of rips on the front and the back.
