Description
World War I gas mask and carrying bag. Bag is green/brown canvas with a flap closure there is an underlined number "3" on the front of the flap. P.L. Wange (somewhat illegible) is stamped on the front of the bag. P.L. Wange is written in pen on the inside of the bag's flap and on the back of the bag. There are multiple serial numbers stamped throughout the bag. Gas mask has a metal cannister painted with peeling green paint, there is a cloth covered rubber hose from the cannister to the mask. Mask is green with two metal rimmed glass lenses. There are black straps for securing the mask to the head.
