Description

Metal cylindrical container made from a WWI German artillery shell. Inside the lid the date 4/9/19 is scratched. There are makers marks stamped on the bottom of the shell " Polte Magdeburg", "JUNI 1915", "171", and "Mg2" with a small crown the next to the "m". There are also makers marks stamped on the lid. "PATRONENFABRIK KARLSRUHE", "OKT 1914",  "55"  "Ke 11" with a small crown above the "Ke"
