Description
"Made by hand from a knot of a tree by Mrs. Albert Carlson's great-great grandfather Ole Erickson in the year of 1780 at Lima, Sweden. Their trade mark carved on the bottom of bowl. also date and initals O.E.S." - Original Clay County Historical Society Record, 1937. Bottom of bowl carving is "1780 O.E.S." and then a rune underneath which is a downward facing E with the middle line extending upwards - tree of life symbol
