"This large spoon was called a 'dipper' and was used to dip milk from the bowl. made by Ole Erickson at Lima, Sweden in 1780." - Original Clay County Historical Society Record, 1937. Wooden spoon (all one carving) with a small notch at the halfway mark of the handle's base to latch onto the lip of a bowl.
