Description

Courthouse - New courthouse is major project WPA - 1937
Newspaper article: "The Clearwater County Courthouse, recently completed, has been the major building project in this community, swelling the total dollars spent in construction during the last couple of years. Its simple lines indicate that it was built at a minimum cost, yet its massive beauty dominates the surrounding scene. The building is now completed, but WPA workmen are now hauling dirt and terracing the front yard out to the street. The old court house, made ridiculous by comparison, is hidden by the new building."
