Description
Black and white print mounted on board. Circa 1895 view of the High Wagon Bridge over the Mississippi River at Winona Photograph was taken from Wisconsin. Th bridge with its 17-foot roadway and the two right angle turns (one is seen in front of the standpipe) was a hazard from the beginning. (See: Winona Daily Republican, Sat, Jul 02, 1892 ·Page 1)
