Description
Wall telephone from the E. S. Hagquist home. Two wooden boxes on a wooden back board. Upper box has two posts at the top (for wiring to phone system), two bells, a hand crank on the right side, cradle holding the receiver on the left. brass plate "Chicago Telephone Supply Company, Elkhart Indiana, USA". Lower box for battery (not attached, sitting on steel shelf attached to bottom, two wires attached to back in lower box area). The top of this box serves as a shelf. Mouthpiece is between the boxes, "Chicago" etched around. Back board is 32" high, 12" wide at widest.
