Description

Doll, fabric, wire, wood, thread.  Female seated "Lace Maker", wearing traditional provincial folk dress, or folkdräkt, of Leksand, Dalarna, Sweden.  This outfit includes a yellow dress, red/white/black printed apron, white floral shawl/scarf and bonnet tied with red ribbon, black leather shoes, white stockings, yellow yarn braids tied with red ribbon.
Desk features brown wood seat with back, elevated stand covered with blue fabric, and a blue roll that supports the lace making.
