Description

A wool throw, or coverlet, or blanket, hand-woven with wool that was carded, spun and dyed by Maria Peterson Ekegren in Scandia, Minnesota.  Married in 1867, Maria was a mother of ten.  Original Gammelgarden artifact number H-0867-11.
Grandmother of Harriet Ekegren Johnson, Delores Ekegren Ecklund, Corrine Ekegren Pahklamets, and Donald Ekegren.
