Description

A cotton table runner designed for and purchased by Gammelgarden Museum of Scandia from Ekelund Master Weavers, Horred, Sweden.  The runner features horizontal green borders around a central black and white panel.  On the lower black panel are floral kurbits centered around ‘Gammelgarden’.  On the upper white panel are black silhouettes of the Gammelgarden buildings.  One of eight - see also TX-0168-26 through TX-0175-26 for the matching runners.  Original Gammelgarden artifact number H-1331-25.  Tag: “Ekelund Master Weavers, Since 1692, Cotton / Baumwolle 100%, Made at Linnevaveriet, Horred, Sweden”.  Tag: “Ekelund, Textile of the Year 2011, ‘Gammelgarden’, 14 x 47 inch, Bomull, 100% Cotton, Baumwolle, Pixelweaving”.
