Swedish: Kjolsäck
Pocket purse, or waist pocket. Front has checkered woven leather, appliqué, and embroidery. Lined with printed cotton, backed with green fabric. Trimmed with red scalloped wool and fringe at the bottom. Red, white and black Swedish braid strap. Worn as part of a women's traditional provincial folk dress, or folk drakt, costume from Rattvik, Dalarna, Sweden. Original Gammelgarden artifact number C-0200-11. Unattributed.
