Description
This piece is the back of a Miao jacket was donated to Hmong Museum by Linn Veltema in February 2023. Veltema acquired the piece when they were traveling to Guizhou Province in 1999 from an unknown Chinese collector. The Chinese collector acquired the piece from Miao artisans while working with the Miao community to build a museum.
There are green embroidered borders. Blue and green characters that looked like fish.
