Description

“Lawa” is labeled on the bottom of the wooden block the doll  is kneeling on. She's wearing a white hooded head piece, red/yellow embroidered wrap skirt and white embroidered shirt. She is also wearing silver earring and cuff bracelets with silver/beaded necklaces. She is wearing clothing that belongs to Southeast Asia ethnic communities.

Geographic Notes
Bought in Vientiane, Laos by Clarice Osborn in the early 1970s. Osborn brought them with her to the US in Brenham, TX.
