Description

“White Yang” is labeled on the bottom of the wooden block the doll is kneeling on. She is wearing a white head cloth and dressed in embroidered white dress. She's also wearing silver hand cuffs, earrings and necklaces, with some of the necklaces are beaded. White Yang is holding a woven bamboo / rattan fishing basket. She belongs to the Southeast Asian ethnic groups.

Geographic Notes
Bought in Vientiane, Laos by Clarice Osborn in the early 1970s. Osborn brought them with her to the US in Brenham, TX.
