Description

"Kha Loven" is labled on the bottom of the wooden block the dolls is on. Kha Loven is kneeling and wearing woven colorful wrapped skirt and shirt with a gray and black woven scarf. She is also wearing an orange-toned scarf on her head that is wrapped like a hood. She is adorned with silver earrings, silver cuff bracelets, beaded and silver necklaces. Kha Loven is also holding a bamboo fish coop. Her clothing indicated that she belongs to Southeast Asia ethnic communities.

Geographic Notes
Bought in Vientiane, Laos by Clarice Osborn in the early 1970s. Osborn brought them with her to the US in Brenham, TX.
