Description

“Red Yang” is labeled on the bottom of the wooden block the doll is kneeling on. She has on a blue head cloth wrapped on her head. She is wearing an embroidered dress with black and red strings. She has silver cuff bracelets and beaded/silver necklaces on. Red Yang is holding on to a fishing basket made out of bamboo / rattan. She belongs to the Southeast Asia ethnic groups

Geographic Notes
Bought in Vientiane, Laos by Clarice Osborn in the early 1970s. Osborn brought them with her to the US in Brenham, TX.
