Description

Name of doll is labeled “Pear” on the base. The doll is standing on a wooden base and holding a sai fish trap. She is wearing a round hat, made out of rattan and bamboo, with strings of beads attached. “Pear” has silver jewelry and beaded necklaces on. She is wearing an attire that belongs to Southeast Asia ethnic communities.

Geographic Notes
Bought in Vientiane, Laos by Clarice Osborn in the early 1970s. Osborn brought them with her to the US in Brenham, TX.
