Description

“Tai Nuea” is labeled on the bottom of the wooden block the doll is standing on. She is wearing her hair in a bun with silver hair accessories. She has wears silver earrings, necklaces and a cuff on each wrist. She has a white shirt with black lining and a black embroidered fold over skirt. This doll belongs to the Tai Nuea ethnic group in northern Laos. 

Geographic Notes
Bought in Vientiane, Laos by Clarice Osborn in the early 1970s. Osborn brought them with her to the US in Brenham, TX.
