Description

The folk tale in this story cloth tells the story of an angel named Yer and an orphan. Yer is one of the seven daughters of the king in the heaven. Yer and her sisters flew down to Earth to swim. The orphan saw them and took Yer's wings. This prevent her from flying back to heaven. Yer ended up marrying the orphan and had a kid with him. When the orphan was away for war, one of the heavenly disciple came down to Earth to take Yer back to heaven. When the orphan came back from war and found out his wife is gone, he prepared food and his sword to go bring his wife back. 
This is a folk story told to many young Hmong children, sometimes go by the title "Ntsuag Thiab Ntxawm". The story is to show the love between an orphan and an angel, how the orphan is determine to go through many obstacles to bring his wife back.
