Description

This story cloth depicts of Hmong in Laos, how they were pursued by the Communist Laos and had to migrate to Thailand during the Secret War. The upper portion of the cloth depicts life in Laos. The white horizontal strip represents the Mekong River that many Hmong crossed to get to safety from Communist Lao soldiers to Thailand. The bottom portion of the cloth is a depiction of Thailand where Hmong are put into refugee camps.
