Green wood U. S. Mail buggy with red wood wheels. Lake Park News 1 May 1958; Members of the Jackson, Nobles and Rock county Assn. of the National Rural Letter Carriers and Auxiliary held their spring meeting at Worthington Wednesday evening. Jim Jensen, rural carrier at Round Lake and president of the association, was chosen as a delegate to the state convention in Minneapolis on June 29 to July 1. A feature of the meeting was a presentation of an old horse-drawn rural carrier's mail wagon to the association by William Fagerness, rural carrier at Rushmore. The Association plans to give it to the Nobles county Historical Society so it can be displayed when the Minnesota Centennial train stops at Worthington. Manufacturer: Circa:
