Description

Female doll depicting Santa Lucia, made of cloth, wire, wood and paint.  Costumed in an off-white dress with a red belt/sash and a lace collar.  There is a green felt crown with five lit candles over long loose yellow thread hair, and the doll has painted facial features.  Rather than legs, the doll has a wooden post affixed to a round wood base.  Original Gammelgården artifact number D-0262-11.  Maker's label: “Charlotte Weibull, Åkarp, Sweden”.
