Description
A female doll, made of cloth, wire, wood, thread and paint. Depicts the provincial folk dress, or folk drakt, of Småland, Sweden. Her outfit includes a black skirt with red trim, a black ½-apron with red trim, silver trim around embroidery in green, pink, yellow and blue, a red sash with blue trim and silver trim detail, a red vest and ½-round panel with blue trim and silver sequin buttons tied with silver thread, a white blouse, a white headscarf, red stockings, black wood shoes and white eyelet bloomer shorts. Yellow thread hair tied into a bun and painted facial features.  Original Gammelgården artifact number D-0818-23.  Has fabric Charlotte Weibull tag inside the skirt.
