Description
Female doll made of cloth, wire, wood, thread and beads.  Depicts the provincial folk dress, or folkdräkt, of Vingåker, Södermanland, Sweden.  The outfit includes a red skirt, a green ½-apron with a black trim with red and yellow thread embroidery and a red waistband, a yellow vest with pink and green floral embroidery, a white blouse with a scalloped collar and lace cuffs and a ‘pin’ made of three beads, a white headdress, green stockings and black wood shoes.  She has yellow/blonde thread hair in a bun and a painted face.  Original Gammelgården artifact number D-0800-21.  Tag attached to hem of skirt: “Charlotte Weibull, Malmo, Sweden ©”
