Description
Female doll made of cloth, wire, wood and thread.  Depicts the traditional, provincial folk dress, or folkdräkt, of Bohuslän, Sweden.  Her outfit includes a blue skirt, a floral ½-apron in white with brown, rust/orange and blue, a dark red vest with stitched yellow and blue embroidery, a white blouse with scalloped collar and cuffs, a grey brocade cap over a lace cap, white stockings and knickers and black wood shoes.  She has a pair of yellow (blonde) thread braids tied with red ribbon and a painted face.  Attributed to Charlotte Weibull.  She has a slip of paper tucked into her back vest that reads “Sveriges Landskapskarta, Bohuslän”.
