Description
A female doll made of cloth, wire, wood and thread.  Depicts the folk dress, or folkdräkt, of Jämtland, Sweden.  The outfit includes a brown skirt and vest with vertical stripes in taupe, red and green, an off-white ½-apron with rendered blue and green foliage and a blue and white horizontal braid at the bottom hem, a white blouse with lace cuffs, a plaid shawl in pink, brown, grey and green, a black cap over lace, white stockings and bloomers and black wood shoes.  She has brown thread hair in a bun and painted facial features.  Original Gammelgården artifact number D-0379-15.  Cloth tag: “Charlotte Weibull”.
