Description
Female doll made of cloth, wire, wood and thread.  Depicts the traditional provincial folk dress, or folkdräkt, of Ingelstad Härad, Skåne, Sweden.  The outfit includes a red dress with a white collar, a ½-apron with vertical stripes in white, red, green, blue, yellow and black, and a red cap with gold trim.  The lower body consists of a post and wood base.  Doll has a pair of yellow (blonde) thread braids and painted facial features.  Original Gammelgården artifact number D-0307-12.  Has both a cloth “Charlotte Weibull” tag on an inside seam in the skirt and a round “Charlotte Weibull Dockcenter, Malmo-Akarp, Sweden” sticker on the bottom of the base.
