Description
A female doll made of cloth, wire, wood and thread.  Depicts a traditional provincial Swedish provincial folk dress, or folkdräkt outfit.  This costume includes a blue skirt, a ½-apron with vertical stripes in blue, white and pink, a grey vest with blue trim, a white blouse with scalloped collar and cuffs, a black and blue head ring, white stockings and bloomers and natural wood shoes.  The doll has a pair of yellow (blonde) braids and painted facial features. Figure holds a wood bucket, with blue flowers painted on the front, trimmed with blue and white braid. The bucket has a silver sticker that reads: “Soderhallgarden Konathantwerk, Alvkarleo”.  Original Gammelgården artifact number D-0419-19.  Attributed to Charlotte Weibull.
