Description
A female doll made of cloth, wire, wood and thread.  Depicts the provincial folk dress, or folkdräkt, of Skåne, Sweden.  The outfit includes a black skirt, a black ½-apron with red trim and elaborate stitching across the bottom, a red sash with blue trim and a metallic ‘X’ pattern, a red vest with blue trim, an off-white blouse with a scalloped collar, a white headscarf with a large bow, red stockings, white bloomers and black ‘leather’ shoes.  Doll has yellow (blonde) thread hair in a bun and painted facial features.
