Description
A female doll made of wire, cloth, wood and yarn.  Depicts the traditional provincial Swedish folk dress, or folkdräkt, of Old Blekinge, Sweden.  The outfit includes a blue skirt with braid that has pink flowers and green foliage on white, a white ½-apron with a pink and blue vertical pattern, a pink brocade vest, a pink and green iridescent scarf, an off-white blouse with lace on the collar and cuffs, a white headscarf, white stockings and bloomers, and natural wood shoes.  The doll has gold yarn hair, worn loose, and painted facial features.  Original Gammelgården artifact number D-0396-15.  Tag: “Trulsi, Sweden”.  On the back of the tag is handwritten: “Old Blekinge”.  Otherwise unattributed.
