Description

A female doll made of wood, cloth, paint and yarn.  Depicts the traditional Swedish Easter Witch.   Her outfit includes a brown striped dress and headscarf and a brown shawl with white yarn tie.  The doll features a conical wood shaped body with white rickrack at the base, a round wood head with painted hair and facial features, and pink felt hands.  Original Gammelgården  artifact number D-0383-15.  Signature on base: “C. M. 1984”
