Description

A female doll made of plastic, cloth, lace, metal and yarn.  Depicts the national Swedish folk costume.  The outfit includes a blue skirt, a yellow ½-apron with a blue waistband and tie with two gold-tone medallions at the center and a blue braid band that has gold thread stitched foliage and white stitched daisies, blue braid (to match the apron) that forms a ‘vest’, a white blouse with a lace collar, a white headband, white legs/stockings and black plastic shoes.  The doll has opening/closing eyes and a pair of yellow (blonde) braids tied with yellow ribbon.  Original Gammelgården artifact number D-0351-13.  Unattributed.
