Description

Black oval cast iron griddle. From a 3" x 5" card in the donor file: "When her mother Mrs. Guy C. Fellows came as a bride, in 1883, to the homestead in Elk township, this griddle was found covering a hole in the roof. Mrs. Fellows restored it and as her family grew, used it to bake pancakes on for many years, on top of the "Quick Meal" stove heated with cobs and wood."
