Description

A female doll made of cloth, wire, yarn, thread and wood.  Depicts traditional provincial Swedish winter folk dress, or folkdräkt.  The outfit includes a grey dress, a ½-apron with vertical stripes of red, pink, black and white, a knit red scarf, a red cap, red mittens, red stockings, and natural wood shoes.  The figure has a pair of yellow (blonde) thread braids tied with red ribbon and painted facial features.  See also DD-0193-26 and DD-0197-26 for similarly attired dolls.  Tag: “Charlotte Weibull, Malmo, Sweden ©”.
