A female doll made of cloth, wire, yarn, straw and wood.  She wears the provincial folk dress, or folkdräkt, of Gotland, Sweden.  The outfit includes a green and yellow plaid skirt, an off-white ½-apron, a green jacket, an off-white headscarf, a straw hat, off-white leggings/stockings, white bloomers and ½-slip, and black wood shoes.  She is a knitter and carries a basket on her left arm that holds a ball of brown yarn, and she holds her knitting project - a brown knit square.  She has pale thread hair worn in a bun and painted facial features.  See also DD-0194-26 for a similar item.  Attributed to Charlotte Weibull.
