A glass block sculpture with a frosted etching of the figures of Karl Oskar and Kristina Nilsson, the main figures, or characters, in Wilhelm Moberg's “The Emigrants.” He is shown holding a valise while she clutches belongings to her chest. The three sides are edged in horizontal lines that frame the internal figures.
