1742 Bible printed in German that belonged to Avis Kruse. Avis Kruse was Eldon "Babe" Kruse's Mother. It has metal reenforced corners. This bible belonged to Harm Kruse and Elmde de Berg, German immigrants from Simonswolde in Hanover. The book was already more than 150 years old when they immigrated to the United States in 1877. It was inherited by their granddaughter, Avis Kruse Fletcher, who settled with her family in Little Rock Township.
