Description

A hand-carved female figure, with stain and paint, depicting a woman in folk dress holding a basket that carries a chicken.  She wears traditional folk dress of a skirt, ½-apron, bodice/vest, blouse, a green headscarf, white stockings and dark brown shoes.  She stands on a squared base.  See also WC-0052-26 for accompanying male figure.  Unattributed.
