Description
A female doll made of cloth, wire, thread and beads.  Depicts traditional provincial Swedish folk dress, or folkdräkt.  This outfit includes a turquoise-colored skirt with a white horizontal band and lace trim on the bottom hem, a beige ½-apron with scalloped edge and embroidered flowers in pink, blue, red, yellow and green, a beige vest with matching embroidery and two beads - one pink, one blue - for buttons, a beige short-sleeved shirt with matching floral embroidery on the chest and sleeves, a beige scalloped ½-slip, beige bloomers, beige stockings with small brown thread balls.  The doll has a two-strand choker made of pale blue beads.  The figure has brown thread hair worn in a braid wrapped around the head and pale painted facial features.  Unattributed.
