Description

The vest element of a folk outfit made in the style of traditional provincial Swedish folk dress, or folkdräkt.  This cotton vest features a printed semi-floral pattern in brown, dark red, light blue, yellow and white.  The vest has a light purple cotton lining and has twelve (six per side) eye-hole openings through which a shiny blue cord is laced for closure.  The back has a gathered ruffle detail at the center of the bottom hem.  Original Gammelgarden artifact number C-0288-20.  See also C-0471a-26, C-0471b-26, C-0471d-26 and C-0471e-26 for the other elements of this folk outfit.   Made in the 1990's or early 2000's.
