INTERVIEW NOTES: This interview was done at the request of oral history project administrators for this project. Bob and Pat Ludlow were pleased to be interviewed by their grandson about their gift to the Worthington Armory project to support its renovation as a home for the Nobles County Historical Society.

SUMMARY OF INTERVIEW CONTENT: In this short videotaped interview recorded by their grandson, Jay Milbrandt, Bob and Pat Ludlow talked about their lead gift to the Nobles County Historical Society and the challenge for city and county officials to match it for the National Guard Armory project. They described their thoughts about giving the gift, stating it was given in honor of Bob Ludlow's great-grandmother, Mrs. Mary (H.J.) Ludlow, the first president of the newly-founded Nobles County Historical Society (1933), and discussed their hopes for the future of the organization.
