Description

A female doll made of cloth, wire and pipe cleaners.  Her outfit depicts traditional provincial Swedish folk dress, or folk drakt.  This costume includes a red skirt, a ½-apron with vertical stripes in white, red, green, yellow and black with a red ribbon waistband, a green felt vest, a red, green and gold bodice, and an off-white blouse with scalloped edges on the collar and cuffs.  The doll features pipe cleaner arms and legs, oval ‘shoes’, yellow, or blonde thread hair worn in a pair of braids with red ribbon ties and painted facial features.  Attributed to Charlotte Weibull.
